What we hold, and where it goes
Celsus answers phone calls, which means we handle what people say on them. This page says exactly what that involves. It is written in plain English on purpose.

If you only visit this website
We collect nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies — this site does not set one. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
If you send us an enquiry
The form asks for your name and email, and optionally your business name and phone number, along with whatever you write in the message. It is delivered to support@thecelsus.com as an email and kept in that inbox so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else.
If you ring a business that uses Celsus
When you call a number our receptionist answers, we process the audio of the call, a written transcript of it, the number you called from, and any details you give — a name, an address, what the job is, when you are free.
All of that belongs to the business you rang. They can read the transcript and see the booking, the same way they would if a staff member had written it down. If you want it corrected or removed, ask them or ask us and we will sort it out with them.
Where calls are processed
This is the part most privacy pages bury, so: your call does not stay in Australia. To answer it we send the audio and the transcript to specialist providers, and at the time of writing those are Twilio for the phone line, Deepgram for turning speech into text, Anthropic for deciding what to say, and Cartesia for the voice that says it. Their processing happens overseas, mostly in the United States.
Each of them handles the call for us and under contract, not for their own purposes. If your industry cannot send call content offshore, tell us before we build anything — that is a real constraint and it changes what we can offer you.
Where a business has connected a calendar, booking details are also written into that calendar, which is normally Google.
How long anything is kept
Call recordings, transcripts and bookings are kept for as long as the business remains our client, so that they can look back at what was said. If a business leaves, or asks us to delete its data, we delete it.
We have not yet set a fixed automatic deletion period. When we do, the number will be written here rather than left vague.
Asking for your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@thecelsus.com and we will do it, or explain why we cannot — for example where a business needs the record of a job it has already carried out.
We never sell personal information, and we do not use call content to train anything.
Security
Access to client data is limited to the people who need it to run the service. Connections are encrypted in transit. We are not going to claim a certification we do not hold; if you need one for your own compliance, ask and we will tell you honestly whether we have it.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and clients are told directly. Questions about any of it go to support@thecelsus.com.
